Post Office Counters 
Falcon provided systems expertise in two major projects:
Design of System Audit routines
for the Post Office / ICL Pathways Project to install intelligent terminals
into 25,000 Post Offices and Sub Post Offices.
These terminals handle all
POCL and third party transactions at Post Office Counters, including payment
of DSS Benefits, purchase of Licences,
and payment of Domestic Energy and
Service Bills. The Audit Routines were needed to monitor the transaction details
as they passed from
Post Offices via ICL to Post Office Headquarters systems,
and on to the various third parties.
Project Set-up and Budget Preparation
for a new generation of Counter Software for 2,000 Post Office Bureaux de
Change. This was needed to allow POCL :
to provide currency services on demand
to an increased number of currencies and countries; and to be Euro Compliant.
