
Bright Station
acquired the technology platform from boo.com, and used it to build Venda, to host Web Sites for B2C Retail Clients.
Falcon was retained
to assist in the move of the Technology Team from boo to Bright Station; and
the recruitment of new and replacement staff for the new team.
Falcon was also asked to assist
in the development of Added Value Services, based around the Core Services
being developed by Venda.
This involved the integration to, or provision
of systems to provide a full end-to-end e-commerce solution. Typically these
systems will include:
Retail Management, including Product Management. Purchase
and Sales Order Processing Logistics, including warehousing, and order fulfilment.
Catalogue Management Systems, including Product and Image Management. Customer
Services; including Customer Registration, Help Desk,
Customer Order Tracking
Management Information; including reporting and information delivery
